Redknapp’s been mentioned by some supporters as someone who could hold the reins with 13 matches remaining.
Speaking to talkSPORT, the man who led Pompey to the top flight in 2003 and FA Cup glory five years laters says he’s ready for a third spell at Fratton Park.
In fact, he joked he will even work for free after the Cheltenham Festival finishes on Friday.
He said: ‘I’m ready – I’m getting bored!

Following Jackett’s departure, Jamie O’Hara expressed his desire to take on a coaching role at Pompey.
The former midfielder, who won The News/ Sports Mail Player of the Season crown during his sole season at Fratton Park in 2009-10, reiterated that sentiment.
